Have breakfast to transfer to Parc National des Volcans. The journey will take you through Mbarara to Kisoro offering sceneries of the beautiful terraced hills, plantations and traditional homesteads. Through Kabale you will cross the Uganda -Rwanda boarder to enter Rwanda and relax at the Volcanoes Virunga Lodge.
Go to the park headquarters for briefing before setting off to the mountain slopes to search for the largest primates. It is an exhilarating experience on encountering of the gorillas. This takes about a full day but it dependant on their movement. Dinner and overnight at Volcanoes Virunga Lodge (FB).
Meet on arrival at Entebbe airport by our representative who will drive you to Lake Mburo Dinner and overnight at Mantana Tented Camp or Ronyo Camp. OR Our driver guide will meet you at the Mutukula (Border Tanzania and Uganda) or Masaka town and proceed to Lake Mburo National Park.
After early breakfast drive carryou game drive and proceed to to Kabale overnight at Accadia Cottages or Lake Bunyonyi Overland Camp.
Morning take a boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi a seeing plenty of bird life and visiting communities as they go their daily activities. Enjoy this Switzerland of Africa scenery. After lunch drive to Kisoro and cross border to Rwanda. Drive to Ruhengeri overnight at Gorilla Nest Hotel or Kinigi Guest House or Muhabura Hotel in Ruhengeri .
Day for gorilla tracking. You will be driven to park headquarters after briefing start off the adventure with local guides. Tracking gorillas may take 5- 8 hours depending on the movements of these primates. Dinner and overnight.

Picked from your hotel at your convenient time and mostly after lunch or on arrival at the airport and be driven northwards. The road takes you through the beautiful terraced hillsides that characterizes much of Rwanda’s landscape, gradually climbing to the base of the awesome volcanoes, with many peaks visible on clear days. Continue to Ruhengeri for overnight at Gorilla Nest Hotel or Kinigi Guest House. (Drive takes a minimum of 3 hours).
Picked from Kigali at your hotel or be picked from the airport drive you to Parc de Volcans. Dinner and overnight and overnight at Gorilla Nest Hotel or Kinigi Kinigi Guest House.
After early breakfast track gorillas. If time allows take visit to the communities Dinner and overnight
Taking another gorilla trek (this is optional – top up of $500) or you will visit Karusoke Research centre, or visit the golden monkeys or drive to Gisenyi, visit Ross Carr's orphanage and Lake Kivu or climb the Visoke/Muhavura volcanoes, or trek to Dian Fossey's grave, or visit the local school, community projects or walk to Lake Bulera.Diner and overnight.

The safari starts and finishes in Kigali. This safari can also be done as a privately as an add on safari to those in Uganda or Rwanda safaris. Nyungwe Forest is a big montane forest, in southern Rwanda is believed to be the largest in Central Africa and has thirteen species of primate including chimpanzee and large groups of Rwenzori colobus. Tracking is on steep slippery hillsides and viewing is unpredictable. Around 300 bird species, orchids and butterflies are other attractions.
Be picked from your Hotel and start by driving south for Nyungwe Forest. Drive further southwards visit the old kings palace in Nyanza. Drive past green hills of tea and the vast Nyungwe Forest. Check in at ORTPN Gisakura Guest House (FB).
Starting from Kampala, this park is located at the edge of southern part of Uganda border through Kisoro town after crossing Uganda Rwanda border and north of Rwanda between volcanic mountain ranges of Muhavura where about over 300 mountain gorillas find their natural habitat.
Starting from Kigali the park location is in the northern part of the country. There are seven habituated gorilla families – Amahoro, “Group 13”, Sabinyo and Susa - and others each of the groups allows up to 8 people per day.
Picked from your hotel in Kampala in the early morningat 7.00am and be driven from Kampala with lunch stop in Kabale and proceed to Kisoro. Cross the border and drive to Ruhengeri for overnight at Gorilla Nest Hotel or Kinigi Hotel or Hotel |Muhabura in Ruhengeri. (Drive takes a minimum of 10 hours).
